Sweet Suites

New York, NY:  Cellist Wendy Law, who is currently in the Artist Diploma Program at the Juilliard School, will be presenting "Sweet Suites", as part of "Voyage To The Exotics Series" on December 5 at 8pm in Morse Hall, the Juilliard School.  "Sweet Suites" features solo cello suites from Britten, Cassado, to the newly written music by Brett Abigana.  It will also feature
Bach Suite #5, which will be performed in the Lute version.

"Voyage To The Exotics Series" involve unique programming.  Each program explores a different theme.  Some of the programs in the Series include "La Pasión" and "Voyage-A Folk Tale".  These concerts explore collaborations with other instrumentalists as well as artists from different mediums.  They always promote music of our time while maintaining the virtue of traditional classics.
